STUP Type Support
Characteristics
STUP type structural supports are made with neoprene and is internally reinforced with A36 steel. STUP supports are devices which absorb horizontal displacements in any direction, because it is composed of a macro molecular elastomer that supports large forces. It is resistant to extreme environmental conditions. Its resistance is high because its internal steel plates.
– Resistant to ozone and most of chemical oxidants.
– Designed to withstand heavy loads, for large movements and to absorb movements in all directions.
– Withstands wind forces and the forces caused by the skew of moving parts.
– Inner steel plate A36 acording to the standard ASTM.
– Made of vulcanized high quality neoprene.
Uses and Applications
– In structures located in areas with large movements, especially used as support for bridges.
